We are delighted with the work carried out to our home, which includes the conversion of a conservatory to an integral “orangery", downstairs refurbishment (including new floors, fittings, decorations and lighting), and the construction of a fantastic outside living space, with decking and gazebo. The finished works far exceeded our expectations. The whole team were fantastic, both with their quality of work, consideration to us and their tidiness. The whole project was expertly planned, budgeted and managed, and kept to the timescale set out. Working with you has made things much easier than they would have been with any other builder, we’re sure. We opted to live in the house through the works and that gave you added challenges. It’s not always been an easy time, living on site through such major works has its risks and tensions but you have been helpful, flexible and understanding and we’ve been able to work together which has made things easier. Pleasant easy to get along style, quality work, attention to details and a good brunch of trades people. "Truly Transformational"

We undertook a very major refurbishment of our home between March and July 2020. This included a complete 'strip-out' and remodelling of the internals to the property, as well as major external works including creation of an outdoor living area and substantial landscaping. The result has been truly transformational. WBC worked with us to understand our needs and offered design concepts which were both creative and conducive to practical every day and modern living styles. The trade teams were professional and highly skilled, as well as being friendly, polite and respectful to our family. The work on site coincided with the first major Covid lockdown, however despite this, and all the potential difficulties with H&S, supplies etc. the project was completed on time, on budget, and entirely to our satisfaction. WBC were an absolute pleasure to work with, and ‘recreated' the perfect new home for us.

"Very High Standard"

Many thanks to Dave and the Wingfield and Hodgkin “purple shirt” crew for the successful delivery of our major, 15-month renovation project, which was planned and delivered professionally to the highest standards. We are delighted with the results and couldn’t have wished for a better building company to work with. The team were friendly, hardworking and dedicated to delivering exactly what we wanted, offering great advice and suggestions along the way - nothing was too much trouble. The team arrived on time every day, were courteous, helpful with advice and suggestions, and always cleaned up after themselves - whether rain, snow or sunshine and however late in the day. As we remained on site throughout the project, (both working from home), the planning and sequencing of the various works and trades was meticulously planned around us, and whilst the work was necessarily noisy and disruptive at times, the overall project was hassle free and went smoothly. The team were always thoughtful and pleasant to deal with, despite the challenges of the Covid pandemic and weather that ranged from pelting rain, hail and snow to 39 degree C temperatures! Fantastic job - highly recommended.

“In 2018 we approached Wingfield Building Company for a quotation to build a brand new, bespoke 3500 sq ft home in Marlow. The quotation was completed promptly and was competitive. We instructed WBC and they began the build in May 2018. Both David and Diane were a pleasure to deal with throughout, they help and supported us through the process, dealt with issues that arose and kept us informed at all times. The build was completed just over 1 year later, on time and on budget. The house was built to an immaculate level of quality and since the completion, WBC have supported us with any issue we have had, all of which have been minor. “During the pandemic I had decided to completely renovate our 1940’s semi-detached. I approached Wingfield Building Company and they sent a competitive quote and references very quickly.
